We are proud to share the success of our recent Computer Course Camp conducted at a Government School, organized by Gurukulaa. This camp was part of our mission to bring digital education to students in rural and under-resourced areas.
Over the course of five days, students were introduced to basic computer skills, including how to operate a computer, use Microsoft Word and Excel, browse the internet safely, and understand the basics of email and digital communication. Most of the students had little to no prior experience with computers, making this camp a valuable first step into the digital world.
Our dedicated trainers provided hands-on learning, step-by-step guidance, and interactive sessions that made the experience fun and educational. The students were enthusiastic and showed a lot of interest in learning how technology can help in their education and future careers.
One of the highlights of the camp was a session on cyber safety, where we educated students about protecting their personal information online and being responsible digital citizens.
At the end of the camp, we held a certificate distribution ceremony to celebrate the students' participation and learning. It was a proud moment for all of us to see their smiles and confidence after completing the course.
We’ve also captured a wonderful photo from the event that shows the energy and excitement of the students during one of the sessions:
This camp is just one of many initiatives by Gurukulaa to promote digital literacy across India. We are committed to reaching more schools and empowering more students with the skills they need in today’s digital world.
Thank you to the school staff, volunteers, and the amazing students who made this camp a success!
